Abstract:

The geometric phase is the core physical content that describes the topology evolution of curved space-time. It can effectively connect general relativity with modern cosmological observational study, and serves as a teaching focus in the Cosmology course in higher education institutions. Currently, the classroom teaching of this knowledge suffers from prevailing problems such as fragmented content arrangement, insufficient mathematical preparation, deficiency of ‌actual test cases, and monotonous teaching models, which results in students struggling to immerse in authentic cosmic evolution scenarios to understand corresponding physical mechanism, and relatively weak overall knowledge application ability. Grounded in the classroom teaching realities, this paper systematically reviews the knowledge body of the geometric phase suitable for the Cosmology course, objectively analyzes varying problems in current practice teaching and proposes actionable optimization strategies that are aligned closely with the daily teaching scenarios, with the aim of providing practical reference for the refined classroom teaching of the Cosmology course.
